New solar tank on new platform over new gas water heaters

Mike Phister, Laundromat owner excited about getting his brand new 95% efficient heaters installed.

2 new 95% efficient stainless steel heaters. We installed these new heaters under the platform that holds the solar tank. You can see the sturdy steel platform above.

Custome built solar tank on platform. The space in the mechanical area was VERY tight so it was hard to get a good photo. This is as good a view as possible of the 54" diameter 60" high solar tank that was installed on a structural steel platform installed over the hot water heaters.

8) 4' x 10' selective surface solar collectors installed on the roof. The racks are all maintenance free aluminum with stainless steel fasteners. The mounting points were roofed in by the roofer who installs and guarantees the roof for the shopping center.

Steel platform to hold solar tank - in process. In this laundromat, there was no floor space for a large solar tank, but there was headroom, so we went up with a platform over the gas heater - which we removed, and replaced 2 ultra high efficiency condensing heaters.
