17 collector arrayThese 17 collectors cross the roof at a diagonal for optimal year round orientation and performance. Reflection off the bright white roof helps boost system performance by several percent.

Back of collectorsMaintenance free aluminum and stainless steel engineered racks support collectors at optimal angle while allowing access underneath for roof maintenance. The roof warranty was kept intact by coordinating with the owner's roofer to flash in the new mounts.

3,000 gallon drainback tank. This 11' diameter x 6' high high performance tank was built by Rushforth Solar. Since it holds the equivalent of about 4 days worth of hot water, it acts as a thermal flywheel to carry heat from sunny periods into cloudy periods.

Old tank.To end up with a nice clean installation, before installing our solar system, we removed this defunct old water tank and cemented up the hole left in boiler room wall.
